The Uxbridge Site of Markham Stouffville Hospital currently operates a 20 bed facility as well as an extensive outpatient program and diagnostic services. There are two medical clinics offering exceptional health care to residents of the Township and are actively recruiting to accommodate a growing patient base.
The collegial medical community currently consists of 10 family doctors who participate in emergency room and inpatient care as well as operate two well established walk-in-clinics.
Continuing medical education is a strong focus of physicians and allied health professionals in Uxbridge with particular attendtion attention to advanced rural skills.

24-hour emergency department, 20 beds. Lab for hospital patients only. Radiology, ultrasound, adult electrocardiography, CT scanning, mammographies, bone density testing. Outpatient clinics (referral by family doctor) include orthopaedic, paediatric, rehabilitation and physiotherapy clinics. Connection with Markham-Stouffville main hospital means access to additional care needs.
The active Auxiliary membership has more than 250 dedicated volunteers with focus on patient services in-hospital and volunteering, including hospital gift shop, Chances Are second hand store and many community events.
