Wood warblers, sparrows, flycatchers and many other migrants are arriving and setting up territories. Glen Major has forest and field on the rolling terrain of the Oak Ridges Moraine and offers good opportunities to see a variety of these birds. There should be a number of early spring wildflowers out to view as well.
Meet North Durham Nature's Geoff Carpentier for this hike at 8:00 am, at the parking lot at Glen Major Forest, Uxbridge Concession 7. 6 km south of Durham Road 21.
Please contact Geoff by e-mail at [email protected] or by phone at (905) 903-0025 to pre-register for this hike.
