Township of Uxbridge Parks Master Plan

The Township of Uxbridge is developing a new Parks Master Plan!  The current Parks, Recreation, and Culture Strategic Master Plan is now ten years old and is in need of updating. The new plan will look at opportunities to develop the Fields of Uxbridge as a recreation hub while considering our recreation, trail, and parks users and their current and future needs.

The Township has commissioned Sierra Planning and Management to develop the new Master Plan. The Plan will guide future municipal investment in facilities (parks and amenities, aquatic centre, sports fields, etc.) parks and recreation programs and services (partnerships, volunteers, etc.) for the next 10 to 20 years.  The Master Plan will provide recommendations to Township Council and staff for sustainable future development, redevelopment, on‐going maintenance and enhancement of Uxbridge’s parkland resources, open spaces/natural environment, recreation facilities, and recreation programs and services.
