    Let’s unite as a community and strive to host Durham's Largest Yoga Class for a great local cause. Join us as we take time to unplug and connect with our surroundings in the beautiful open setting of Elgin Park right here in Uxbridge. Bring your kids, your family, your friends – everyone is welcome.
    Hosted by NRG4Life in partnership with Jennifer Ashleigh Children's Charity, experienced yoga instructors will guide you through a multi-leveled flow yoga class with options for all skill levels and ages. Experienced teachers Mary McElrea and Julie Thayer will lead the class, along with other Team NRG yoga instructors - Natalie W, Heather H, Catherine B and more...
    Cost: $10 per person ($5 for children) with all proceeds going to Jennifer Ashleigh Children's Charity (JACC). Bring your own mat and a waterbottle.

Perfect for anyone who has ever wanted to try curling, without the commitment of joining a league, or even for experienced curlers who want to enjoy a non-competitive day of fun with the kids or grandkids. Experienced club members will be on hand to show you the ropes, then set you free to enjoy yourself at your own pace. Think shinny-style curling! All the equipment that you need is provided by the club. You only need to bring flat soled, clean shoes. After your game, warm up in the lounge and enjoy hot chocolate and pizza, included in your ticket price.
    Please note that each event has a maximum of 32 participant spots available, and they fill up quickly! Spectators are welcome free of charge.

    Calling all Superheroes to come join us on Sunday September 30th, 2018 at Purple Woods Conservation area for the 4th Annual Durham Superhero FunWalk. All ages welcome for a fun-filled event!
    Funds raised will go in support of Durham's most vulnerable children and youth. The Durham Children's Aid Foundation currently supports over 3000 children. Every child needs a superhero, please come and show off your super powers on September 30th.
    Team Relay Challenge - 9:00 am Recruit 4 friends/co-workers and show off your super speed by participating in the 4x5K relay challenge. Each team needs to fundraise a minimum of $1000 to participate.
    Family FunWalk - 11:00 am Join us for the Family & Friends FunWalk.
    Spend your morning fighting superheroes, walking around Purple Woods and participating in a dance off and other super-hero challenges. Superhero cape, face painting, activity pack and lunch will be provided. Registration is $25/pp. Registration is waived if you fundraise a minimum of $100. Kids under 5 are FREE. Join us on September 30th- Every Child Needs a Superhero!
